Extra game on Sky this week due to the deal to cover all Catalans home games, it’s Huddersfield who travel to Perpignan today looking to build on a good win over Warrington last week.
This is a big game for both sides, the loser will find it very hard to escape the middle 8’s, Super League sponsors Betfred make the French side 8/13 favourites to win this, their home form hasn’t been as reliable this season, they’ve only won 3 from 7 and Huddersfield have started to pick up some decent results.
This includes a win against Catalans at magic 3 weeks ago. In a very tough game to call the value could just be in Huddersfield getting a 4 point start on the handicap, in what should be a very tight game.
I can’t see more than a try in it either way and 7/5 is a little short for the away side given the advantage the Dragons have at home but they should be able to keep this close.
Mcgilvary is a worthy joint favourite at around 9/1 to score the 1st try, Inu looks the value for the French side at around 12/1, Yaha is the other joint favourite.
One other game today, Leeds concede a 4 point handicap at in form Wakefield.
Trinity have won their last 6 in Super League and it’s surprising that you can get up to 6/4 for them to win again.
The Rhinos have been inconsistent of late having won 3 and lost 3 of their last 6 so you’d probably want more than the 1/2 they are to win here.
Another game that could be very close, but given current form the value has to be with Wakefield getting a 4 point start on the handicap.
