Gelling pleads not guilty to GBH

Warrington Wolves centre Anthony Gelling has pleaded not guilty to a charge of Grievous Bodily Harm at Warrington Magistrates Court.

The alleged incident took place at his home back in February. Cheshire Police say it happened on 6th February, and was then reported to police two days later.

He was also stood down by the Wolves, shortly after making his debut. However, he was reinstated just before the season was suspended.

The Cook Island international has been released on bail, and must appear at Liverpool Crown Court in August.
