Frustrated fans plan protest after poor start to the season

Times are tough at Wests Tigers despite the arrival of former Wigan Warriors star John Bateman.

They are yet to win a game and have suffered some big defeats to start the season as former Hull KR boss Tim Sheens is yet to turn things around for the club in their five year plan and fans are getting frustrated and according to The Mole of Wide World of Sports, fans are planning a protest for their next game.

“We have been poor in terms of results for over a decade and nothing seems to change,” said the man behind the protest which has been organised in a Facebook group he is an admin of, Clint Schmeider, told Wide World of Sports.

“The fans have had enough – I live in Newcastle and my kids won’t even come with me to Sydney to watch games anymore, which really hurts.

“They are sick of seeing us lose and I really can’t blame them.

“This isn’t aimed at the players – it’s the people who run the club who need to be held accountable.

“They are making the poor decisions and we fans suffer as a result.

“Our group only started recently but is growing all the time.

“We are not nut jobs – just frustrated fans.

“The thing I want to emphasise though is whatever we do will be peaceful and orderly. No way will there be riots or anything like that.

“We just want to change the culture of the club because things just seem to be going from bad to worse.”
