Frantic Friday Super League team news as Liam Farrell and Maika Sivo decisions made amid Wigan Warriors and Leeds Rhinos’ League Leaders Shield race

The team news is in for the five Super League games tonight on Frantic Friday as the final play-off finishing positions are confirmed.

It has already been confirmed which six teams will be in the play-offs but the order is yet to be determined with not a single one of the six teams qualified locked to a certain position.

Wigan Warriors are confirmed as finishing in the top two and that has seen their home semi-final date announced, however, the League Leaders Shield is still up for grabs with Leeds Rhinos still a chance of winning it if they can better Wigan’s result.

Matt Peet’s side host Catalans Dragons whilst the Rhinos welcome Hull FC to Headingley, though arguably the more interesting games are about what the rest of the top six will look like.

Leigh Leopards know they must beat Wakefield Trinity by 28 points of more to leapfrog Daryl Powell’s side and secure a home play-off, whilst Wakefield know that if they win and Warrington lose to Toulouse then they have a chance of snatching third.

Hull KR travel to St Helens in the other game though Willie Peters has heavily rotated his side ahead of the play-offs, meaning Saints could end their miserable season with a win.
