Wigan Warriors eased past Catalans Dragons to confirm themselves as League Leaders Shield winners and we now know what the play-off picture below them looks like.
Whilst there is still one game left of the Super League regular season this year, that pits Huddersfield Giants against Castleford Tigers and will have no impact on the top six.
As such, we know where every side has finished, therefore, we know who will play who in next week’s eliminators and on what dates.
Leeds Rhinos didn’t manage a win over Hull FC but they were safe in second despite Warrington winning on account of the Rhinos’ superior points difference. Elsewhere, Wakefield beat Leigh to stop any hopes that the Leopards had of securing a home play-off. St Helens also signed off with a win over the Hull KR kids, meaning the top six remained in the exact positions they started the night in.
The dates and TV coverage for the play-offs had been confirmed earlier but now we have the results and finishing positions confirmed, we know who will play on what date.
