Blake Green has retired from rugby league with immediate effect.
Green, who’s now 34 years of age, played for Wigan in 2013 and 2014 and won the Grand Final and Challenge Cup in his first year. The stand-off also had a two-year spell at Hull KR before that.
The Aussie had been playing at Newcastle Knights but after returning from an ACL injury last year said: “I can still see everything clearly on the field and know where I need to be.
“But unfortunately my body stopped getting there.”
