Barrow forward Adam Walne says he is enjoying his rugby once again after dropping down two leagues.

Walne made 12 appearances for Huddersfield over a period of three seasons, but gave a sly dig against his former side.

“I am really enjoying my rugby once again and that is really down to the bunch of lads we have and the way the coaching staff treat its players, with honesty and respect,” Walne said.

“When that’s the case you get the most out of your players and I think that’s playing a big part in us going unbeaten so far this season.

“There is a real buzz starting to build each week and it’s a pleasure to be a part of this squad, we have a real good mix of players that are all great blokes as well.”
