Wests Tigers are perhaps the busiest club not just in the NRL but the world of rugby league when it comes to recruitment.
Chasing Wigan Warriors star John Bateman prepared to pay $250,000, they are also looking to bring in Mitchell Moses for 2024.
This could see any of Adam Doueihi, Luke Brooks of former Salford Red Devils star Jackson Hastings leave the club.
The Tigers are also said to be chasing David Klemmer and Tyson Frizell of the Newcastle Knights to revamp their pack in 2023 and could even use Luke Brooks as a bargaining chip.
It has also been reported that should their pursuit fail, the Tigers would turn to England international and former Super League Champion Luke Thompson according to the Daily Telegraph.
Thompson was the 2019 Harry Sunderland Award winner and has been a sensation since joining the Canterbury Bulldogs.
He has previously been linked with a move to Wests or indeed Melbourne Storm and back to Super League.
However, the Bulldogs seem keen to keep him and have reportedly denied that any move would take place according to the Daily Telegraph.
Thompson could even be in line to captain the side following Josh Jackson’s retirement.
