Former St Helens player’s surprising new career move

Ryan Morgan was once a first-grade NRL and Super League player.

After making almost 100 appearances in the NRL for both Parramatta Eels and Melbourne Storm, Morgan made the move to Super League side St Helens ahead of the 2017 season.

Though he failed to win a trophy in his 50 appearances made for the Lancashire club, the centre did help Saints win the League Leaders’ Shield in the 2018 season.

With the signing of Kevin Naiqama ahead of the 2019 season, Morgan was pushed out and a loan move to London Broncos quickly followed where he made 21 appearances, scoring five tries.

He retired at the end of 2019, aged just 29, to move back home to Australia and pursue other adventures.

As such, Morgan is now an online health coach, helping others stay in or get in the shape of their lives, with his Instagram profile now a hotbed of health tips and action.
