Former rugby league star shocks campmates with ‘explosion’ of anger in surprising outburst

It seems as though former rugby league star Beau Ryan is finding it hard to make new friends in the I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here camp.

Ryan missed a treat in camp as his fellow competitors tucked into a cookie, annoying the former NRL star so much that he stormed through the fire putting it out.

“This is bulls**t,” he muttered, before walking away.

“I feel really mean right now,” admitted Dylan Lewis, as he nibbled at his prize. “If we could share, I would.”

The outburst didn’t go down well with his campmates nor audiences watching the Channel Ten show who felt his actions were childish.

Ryan made 104 appearances for the Wests Tigers between 2004 and 2012, scoring 46 tries before making the move to the Cronulla Sharks in 2012.

There he registered another 22 NRL appearances, scoring seven tries, but was forced to retire midway through the 2014 season due to a severe neck injury.

Since then, Ryan released his own music single in September of that year alongside the Justice Crew and has even advertised contracts for several clothing lines.

To add even more impressive accolades to his CV, Ryan starred NRL/AFL cross code movie called Chasing Comets which was written and produced by fellow ex-NRL player Jason Stevens.

That film was released in Australian and New Zealand cinemas in 2018 and premiered on Network Ten in 2019.

He has also co-hosted a breakfast radio show as well as hosting Network 10’s revival of The Amazing Race Australia.
