Former Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors prop Brad Singleton has made a major career decision and will retire at the end of the season.
Singleton will hang up the boots after 16 seasons in the professional game, and will end the season with hometown club Barrow Raiders.
Coming through the Leeds Rhinos academy in 2011, the Cumbrian made 270 Super League appearances, and over 60 in the second tier. He has also played three games for Ireland on the international stage.
Starting the season with Castleford Tigers, personal circumstances forced a move back up to Cumbria, before his return to the field was announced at Barrow.
The 33-year-old has now revealed that this season will be his last, and he will take up a coaching role next season, keeping him involved in the game.

Former Leeds Rhinos prop Brad Singleton lands Championship head coach role
Singleton will become the boss of Cumbrian outfit Workington Town in 2027, and joins as part of a coaching restructure.
Current gaffer Jonty Gorley will move up to a Director of Rugby role, and will work with Singleton when he joins the club in pre-season.
The prop believes that whilst he could have potentially squeezed another season out, it is coaching that excites him most as he heads into his new chapter.
