Former Hull KR and Castleford forward retires

James Green has announced his retirement from rugby league.

The 30-year-old had had spells with both Hull KR and Castleford in Super League and has also registered appearances for Bradford, York and Leigh.

Green announced how difficult it had been to juggle rugby league with his new business venture, and, in such a difficult climate explained the decision to focus on one career.

The forward made his Hull KR debut in 2012, making just shy of 100 appearances before moving to Leigh and then Castleford.
