Former Hull FC and Salford Red Devils forward Jansin Turgut is making impressive moves in the boxing ring.
It’s just under three years since Turgut had fallen three storeys whilst on holiday in Ibiza, attaining severe injuries and being put on life support back in the summer of 2019.
A month-long coma followed before he admitted that the fall from a third storey car park in Ibiza had been a suicide attempt.
It’s been a long road to recovery, but now the Turkish international and current West Hull ARLFC head coach, is ready to go back onto the rugby league field.
Aged just 25, Turgut is likely to gather interest from various sides, with just under 50 Super League appearances under his belt already.
The second-rower also had spells at Doncaster and Featherstone Rovers.
