Former Hull FC and Salford forward Jansin Turgut making miraculous recovery just two years after coma

Former Hull FC and Salford Red Devils Jansin Turgut has documented his miraculous recovery, just two years after a horror accident.

It’s news that will please everybody in the rugby league fraternity after Turgut had fallen three storeys in Ibiza, attaining severe injuries and being put on life support back in the summer of 2019.

A month-long coma followed before he admitted that the fall from a third storey car park in Ibiza had been a suicide attempt.

It’s been a long road to recovery, but now the Turkish international and current West Hull ARLFC head coach is ready to go back onto the rugby league field.

Aged just 25, Turgut is likely to gather interest from various sides, with just under 50 Super League appearances under his belt already.

The second-rower also had spells at Doncaster and Featherstone Rovers.

But, it’s also in the boxing ring where the 25-year-old is making waves, keeping himself in shape and documenting it on his social media page on Instagram.
