Ex-England forward in troubling new role

As the man said himself, 428 games for Huddersfield and 18 for England, but rugby league legend Eorl Crabtree still has to do the dirty work behind the scenes at the Giants.

Known for his devastating carries and great offload game, Crabtree has had to prepare for Huddersfield’s fixture against Warrington tonight at the John Smith’s Stadium.

That dirty work included, for some reason, getting under a sponsor’s banner to presumably fix the banner to a position in the stands.

Crabtree, nephew of wrestler Shirley, made a name for himself throughout Super League for his long blonde locks and giant frame.

Although, clearly, that hasn’t intimidated some of the sponsors down at Huddersfield!
