Junior Moors was well-loved down at Castleford in the five years he played at the Jungle.
After registering 100 appearances in that period, Moors left for Featherstone following a series of injuries – including a broken hip which threatened to endanger his career.
However, in Rovers’ 68-12 thrashing of Newcastle Thunder on Saturday, Moors was back to his best, throwing off Newcastle defenders left, right and centre.
And, despite Gareth Gale getting the plaudits for a record-breaking six tries – equalling former winger Luke Briscoe’s achievement – the Samoan forward was rightly lauded for his impressive efforts.
