Israel Folau’s attempt to join the Queensland Rugby League side Southport Tigers has been rejected, according to 9News.
Queensland Rugby League has sided with Perpignan club Catalans Dragons in the saga, saying they will not agree to register the player unless he secures a release from the French club which has threatened Folau’s rugby league career Down Under.
