Five Super League stars set to consider offers from rival clubs

Last week brought the start of May and therefore the opening of the recruitment window in Super League.

Players out of contract can now negotiate with rival clubs over a potential move.

And some players have already headed to the open market to see what offers they can receive.

Sam Walters – Leeds Rhinos
Sam Walters was the first player where reports were made suggesting that he was heading to the market to see what offers could come his way. Leeds are keen on keeping the prop, as Rohan Smith revealed this week, but they face opposition.

Chris Satae – Hull FC
It is the same for Chris Satae with Tony Smith this week confirming that the club wants to keep him but he is considering offers elsewhere. Catalans Dragons is a club rumoured to be interested.

Owen Trout – Huddersfield Giants
A brilliant young forward, Ian Watson confirmed that Trout had turned down a deal from the Giants to look at offers elsewhere. Castleford Tigers and Hull FC have been linked with a move for him.

Connor Wynne – Hull FC
It has been reported by Hull Live that Wynne has been told he can consider options elsewhere and Tony Smith recently said that the back, who is on loan at Bradford Bulls, has yet to do enough to “interest” him.

Ethan Ryan – Hull KR
The same publication have also reported that Ethan Ryan could be headed to Castleford. Down the pecking order at Craven Park, his future seems to lie elsewhere.
