Five players are to leave Sheffield Eagles during the off-season, according to the Sheffield Star.
The quintet are headlines by former Huddersfield and Toronto forward Shaun Pick, who has signed for Batley, and ex-Bradford and Hull outside back Jason Crookes.
Joining them in leaving are back rower Sonny Esslemont, and young forwards James Thornton and Joslin Landu.
Pick signed for the Eagles in 2018, going on to play 47 games for the club.
The other four all signed at the start of 2019, with Crookes and Esslemont making 15 and 18 appearances respectively.
Thornton has struggled with injury all season, playing just once, while Landu played a handful of games for Wakefield Trinity’s reserves side.
