First two Channel 4 Super League fixtures in 2023 confirmed as Wigan Warriors and St Helens to take the lime light

Last night, the Super League opening fixtures were confirmed with every Super League side confirming their first home game of the 2o23 season ahead of this morning’s further fixture reveal at 8:30.

Alongside this, the first TV games were confirmed including the first Channel 4 games after their coverage was so beloved in 2022.

Channel 4’s coverage begins with Hull KR vs Wigan Warriors in Round One at Craven Park as Willie Peters takes the reigns for the first time as Robins boss up against Matt Peet’s Wigan side who are out to right the wrongs of last season as the second place Warriors missed out on the Grand Final.

Speaking of the Grand Fina, St Helens first game of the season will be shown on Channel 4. After missing Round One due to potential World Club Challenge commitments, they will take on Castleford Tigers at the Jungle in front of the Channel 4 cameras.
