Fiji vs Italy: Kick-off time, Venue, TV Channel and Team News

It’s a must win game today between Fiji and Italy with the winner likely set for a place in the quarter-finals.

Italy already have points on the board after a win over Scotland, whilst Fiji lost to Australia last week but are expected to beat the Scots next week no matter what happens today.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game.

The game kicks off at 14:30 at Kingston Park in Newcastle.

Fiji have plenty of Super League stars in their side such as Huddersfield bound Kevin Naiqama, Hull FC’s Mitieli Vulikijapania, Salford’s King Vuniyayawa, the retiring Korbin Sims and Leigh Leopards Ben Nakubuwai. He’s been subject to rumours regarding a potential move to Leeds but was named in Leigh’s 2023 squad. Meanwhile, Super League target Brandon Wakeham will also feature. As for Italy they will be led by Parramatta’s Nathan Brown and winger Jake Maizen will be key after his hat-trick on Sunday.
