In a repeat of their infamous Challenge Cup clash in 2018 when five cards were shown in 15 minutes, Featherstone host the fast starting Hull FC. The Rovers will be looking to test themselves against Super League opposition whilst Hull will be hoping to build on their impressive start to the season.
Featherstone have a conundrum in the halves as Tom Holmes returns to the 21 man squad. However, I expect them to stick with Dane Chisholm and Fa’amanu Brown. They face a few problems in the pack however with Craig Kopczak, James Lockwood and John Davies all missing. Former Leeds and Hull KR back Thomas Minns will also miss out due to Covid-19 protocols.
Hull FC will definitely be missing Josh Reynolds through a hamstring problem and I fancy Marc Sneyd to join him on the side lines. I don’t think Brett Hodgson will risk the scrum-half after he went off with a knock against Salford. Thus, I can see Ben McNamara or Connor Wynne coming into the side whilst Carlos Tuimavave moves into the halves alongside them.
