Featherstone Rovers have signed young Warrington outside back Jack Johnson.
A Warrington academy product, the 23-year-old made 18 appearances since his Wolves debut in 2015, scoring seven tries.
He has been limited to just four games this season, mainly due to recovering from a double leg break suffered last year, but will link up with Ryan Carr’s side in the hope of more playing time.
Johnson’s arrival comes as the club say farewell to utility back Will Dagger, who has returned to Hull KR following the expiry of his loan deal.
“I am really looking forward to joining Featherstone and helping the boys with the final push for the rest of the season,” said Johnson. “I can’t wait to meet everyone and get started playing.”
Featherstone chairman Mark Campbell added: “It’s great news that we have been able to bring someone of Jack’s quality in at this late stage of the campaign and strengthen Ryan’s squad, as we approach the final weeks of the season. I would personally like to thank all the supporters that have joined in our squad builder initiative. It’s given us all a real boost and has enabled us to complete this signing.”
