Featherstone sign Minns

Featherstone have confirmed the signing of former Leeds, London and Hull KR centre Thomas Minns.

The 25-year-old will join Rovers on a deal from 2020 after recently being released by KR.

He previously had a spell on loan at Featherstone from the Rhinos in 2015, scoring eight tries in 16 games.

Since then, Minns established himself as one of Super League’s most consistent players, scoring 34 tries in 49 appearances for Hull KR between 2016 and 2018.

He recently returned to the Super League club after completing a 16-month drugs ban, but was let go without playing a game in 2019 after sustaining a season-ending foot injury.

Featherstone have now moved quickly to secure him as their first new signing of next season.

“The fans can expect 100% commitment from me, Minns said. They were one of the main reasons why I joined the club.

The reception I received last time I played here as a player was great. I can’t wait to get going.”
