Featherstone sign former Super League star

Featherstone have announced the signing of former Castleford and Catalans forward Gadwin Springer until the end of the season.

The French Guiana-born forward has been at Halifax this season after previously having a spell at Toronto.

Springer made his Super League debut for the Dragons against St Helens in 2014 and went on to make 58 appearances for Castleford following his move midway through 2015.

Springer will be available for selection for next Sunday’s top-of-the-table clash with Toulouse.
