Featherstone Rovers have announced the signing of former St Helens centre Jake Spedding from Barrow Raiders.
The 22-year-old joins Rovers with immediate effect on a short-term deal until the end of the 2019 season.
He made four Super League appearances during his time with Saints, and also had two loan spells with Sheffield Eagles, where he scored nine tries in 27 games.
He joined the Raiders at the start of this season and has gone on to make 20 appearances and score five tries for the Cumbrian club.
On the move to West Yorkshire, he said: “When the opportunity came up to sign for Featherstone it was too good an opportunity to turn down, they are a huge club with big ambitions and I’m excited to be part of the team for the rest of the season and hopefully be successful through the playoff’s and take Featherstone to Super League.”
