Featherstone sign experienced winger

Featherstone have re-signed former player Ben Blackmore from Sheffield Eagles.

The 26-year-old has joined the club on a two-year deal ahead of the 2020 season.

He has played over 150 career games since making his debut for Castleford in 2012 and had a successful two-year spell with Rovers in 2014 and 2015, scoring 20 tries in 35 games.

He becomes the club’s fifth signing for next season, following Thomas Minns, Alec Susino, Dean Parata and Louis Jouffret.

“It’s my hometown club is Featherstone Rovers and all of my family live around the area, he said. My nephew is looking forward to it even more than I am.

I’m really excited to be back at the club, my whole family is to be fair.”
