Featherstone may have the strongest squad in Championship history.
With the arrival of Ryley Jacks from Australia this season, Brian McDermott has four first team halfbacks he can choose from which has made game time hard to come for some with the likes of Tom Holmes spending time at Sheffield Eagles on loan.
Such is their strength in depth, two more Rovers have made loan moves for a two week period with Dane Chisholm joining London Broncos and Kyle Trout being drafted into Dewsbury Rams’ squad ahead of their exciting Easter derby clash with Batley Bulldogs on Good Friday.
Chisholm’s time with London meanwhile will begin with a game against Sheffield Eagles.

On the loan moves, coach McDermott said on the Rovers’ website: “We’re in a fortunate position to have a fiercely competitive squad that we’ll need to use as a system for the entire season. All members of the squad will be required to play their part and in the meantime, it’s important that those who aren’t playing now get good game time elsewhere so that they’re ready to go when called upon.”
