Featherstone chase Bradford star

Crowd trouble Featherstone

Featherstone have set their sights on Bradford fullback Brandon Pickersgill, Rugby League Live has revealed.

The Bradford academy product can play fullback, stand-off and even in the pack, adding a certain versatility to Rovers in their quest for a Super League spot in 2022.

Featherstone are currently sat second in the Championship just behind Toulouse who they were defeated by a fortnight ago at home.

However, the signing of Pickersgill would really send out a message to the rest of the second tier that Rovers mean business – if they haven’t already portrayed that already.

Pickersgill has made 69 appearances for the Bulls since debuting back in 2017, scoring 30 tries in the process.

Featherstone have delved into the transfer market in recent weeks with Wakefield’s Alex Walker and former Castleford prop Gadwin Springer joining the club, though fan favourite James Harrison’s move to Warrington has been confirmed for 2022.
