Favourites to sign Dom Young reportedly revealed

Dom Young is one of the most exciting young players on the planet at the moment but the former Huddersfield Giants winger’s future is not yet decided.

That’s despite the fact Newcastle Knights are very keen on locking in the youngster with the other signings the Knights have made from England in the shape of Will Pryce and Wigan Warriors star Kai Pearce-Paul as well as new assistant coach and former Leeds Rhinos boss Brian McDermott hopefully key to keeping him at the club.

However, two can play at that game and South Sydney Rabbitohs have turned to assistant coach and legendary English player Sam Burgess to tempt him to the club with it being reported that he has held meetings with Young over a potential move.

Now a third club have done the same with Young reportedly touring the facilities at Canterbury Bulldogs.

This comes from the Daily Telegraph who have also reported that the Bulldogs are now favourites for his signature.

That said, other clubs are not yet out of the mix.

Serious About Rugby League understands that Young and his management will meet with other clubs next week to determine the exciting winger’s future.

At the end of next week, Young’s future could be closer to being settled.

Young scored an impressive nine tries during the Rugby League World Cup for England including four in 40 minutes against Greece and a World Class brace against Samoa in the opening game.

He also ran 100 metres for a try against France as well as crossing against Papua New Guinea in the quarter-finals.
