Last night the Warrington Wolves reminded everyone of their title credentials with a thumping win over Salford. The league’s top try scorers ran in 10 superb scores in a 62-18 win that left the Wolves fourth in the table. Well, that’s how I saw the game. But what did social media think?
Gareth Widdop was the maestro for Warrington as he ripped Salford to bits in attack. Many believe he is finally back to his best and ready to take Super League by storm.
Viva Gaz widdop, get the check book out fellas.

Widdop is like a completely different player this year – he’s really made a difference. It will take a real effort to beat them, we used to do excel when we had an underdogs tag – let’s see some of that old spirit!!

That was a very impressive performance. Not getting carried away but out attacking play was a joy to watch! Widdop & Walker was outstanding!

Toby King also impressed as he continues to cement himself as Super League’s top centre. Despite his tries, it was his post-match interview that caught the eye.
How good is Toby King 👍 top interview

Did Toby King have a bump on the head? 😂

On the other side of things, Salford fans were not happy with what they believed to be an embarrassing performance.
Salford you have no team spirit your defence is woeful, come on you are better than this 🙄

Have to disagree on this one. There's a way to lose, like that against Wigan.

But that shouldn’t detract from a brilliant Warrington showing. With the Wolves so on form in the backs, the question was asked – if the highly sought after George Williams chooses Warrington as some believe he will, who does he replace?
If George Williams signs for warrington who gets dropped on current form?
