Exclusive: Jordan Lane gives honest update on his Hull FC future

Jordan Lane has become one of Hull FC’s most consistent players in recent seasons.

The forward has played 52 games for the Black and Whites since debuting back in 2017 and has had three different loan spells at Doncaster.

Being Hull through-and-through, Lane has professed just how good it has been to step out onto the turf at the MKM Stadium and how grateful he is to be able to do that.

“It’s been an honour to be able to represent Hull especially being a home grown player,” Lane told Serious About Rugby League.

“I’m just grateful for the position I am in.”

That being said, Lane is out of contract at the end of the 2022 Super League season, but knows that any future deal is entirely in his own hands.

“Obviously coming into my last year it is on my mind but I’m taking it game by game.

“I just want to put my best foot forward for the team and hopefully that takes care of itself.”

For Lane and Hull FC, they will be hoping for a better season than the one in 2021 when they finished outside the play-offs following a dismal run of nine losses from ten games.
