Exciting talisman signs new three-year deal

Melbourne are set to hand star fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen a new three-year deal, NRL.com understands.

Papenhuyzen was already contracted with the Storm for next season, so the Aussie will be at Melbourne until the end of 2025.

The 23-year-old won the Clive Churchill Medal in last year’s Grand Final, but has missed a number of games in 2021 due to a long concussion problem – though he will be ready to play his 50th NRL appearance at the weekend.

Papenhuyzen’s extension comes just after veteran boss Craig Bellamy has signed a new deal also.
