Exciting changes made to Hull FC friendly

Sheffield Eagles vs Hull FC on Sunday 22nd January will now be a triple-header as the Wheelchair teams of both clubs will collide at Forge Valley.

The first game of the day, at 10am, sees the two teams’ wheelchair teams collide and the Eagles squad will be confident after a brilliant runout against Wigan Warriors last weekend.

The club has warned that there is very limited space for spectators at Forge Valley, S6 5HG, so if you do want to watch, it is advised you get there early.

After the Wheelchair game, Sheffield Eagles Women will face Hull FC Women at the Olympic Legacy Park (12:30pm KO).

The Eagles Men round off the day by taking on their Super League counterparts at 3pm.

The Eagles will provide good opposition after making some impressive signings such as former Castleford Tigers and Featherstone Rovers forward Jesse Sene-Lefao as well as former Leeds Rhinos halfback Corey Aston.

Meanwhile, they have also signed promising young forward Joe Hird from the Rhinos to the dismay of plenty of Leeds fans.

Hull FC meanwhile have signed the likes of Tex Hoy and Jake Clifford from Newcastle Knights, Rhinos duo Liam Sutcliffe and Brad Dwyer as well as former Castleford Tigers halfback Jake Trueman.

They also have a new coach in Tony Smith.
