The match will take place on Sunday 23rd April at the Fox’s Biscuits Stadium and will have a kick-off time of 3pm, with coverage starting at 2:45pm.

Batley Bulldogs head into this cup tie having trounced Hunslet ARLFC 80–6 at the start of the month. Josh Hodson scored four tries with Dale Morton grabbing three in the wide victory, while Aidan McGowan, Ben White and James Meadows each got over the line twice. The Bulldogs are hunting for their fourth Challenge Cup title, with their last triumph coming way back in 1901.

As for the Cougars, they overcame North Wales Crusaders last time out 36-14, with Keenan Dyer-Dixon and Mo Agoro scoring twice. Keighley have never been fortunate enough to taste glory in the Challenge Cup. The closest they have ever come to being crowned champions came back in 1937 when they were the runners-up to Widnes Vikings.

The two Betfred Championship teams have experienced mixed starts to the season with both winning and losing four games from their opening eight matches of the season.

In their last outing, the Bulldogs fell to a 26-18 defeat at home to Featherstone Rovers while the Keighley Cougars posted a 22-10 victory at York City Knights. Both are in action in Championship action this weekend before their Challenge Cup clash which is sure to be an exciting encounter.

Batley Bulldogs travel to Bradford Bulls, who have won five of their first eight fixtures, while Keighley Cougars host recently relegated Toulouse at Cougar Park.
