Ben Murdoch-Masila will play no further part in the NRL season after suffering a foot injury in New Zealand Warriors’ 18-16 victory over Wests Tigers last weekend.
The rampaging forward – who registered 68 appearances for Warrington over a period of three seasons as well as 60 in a Salford shirt previously – succumbed to the injury as the Warriors tried desperately to claw back the deficit to the top eight.
Murdoch-Masila has played 12 times for the Warriors since returning to the NRL ahead of the 2021 season, but will play no further part.
He took to Instagram to show his frustration.
