A number of NRL players have uncertain futures at present including some of the world’s finest players.

That did include Latrell Mitchell. Formerly of Sydney Roosters, the centre / fullback is now a Rugby League World Cup winner and was key to Australia’s success at Old Trafford.

That said, his future at South Sydney Rabbitohs was unclear and was put on hold as he enjoyed some time away from the sport at home on his family’s farm.

He is not the only star name at South Sydney as former Wakefield Trinity star Jason Demetriou in the South Sydney hot seat has to make a decision on.

There have also been question marks over stand-off Cody Walker and Australian hooker Damien Cook however, he did secure Cook’s future last week.

Meanwhile, keeping Walker is key to the development of young halfback Lachlan Ilias whilst, having someone of the quality of Latrell Mitchell is vital.

But it seems the trio will be staying in the green and red of Souths in the years to come in a major boost for the former Wakefield man.

This is according to the Daily Telegraph who have reported that Walker and Mitchell will follow Cook’s lead and sign new deals set to be unveiled on Wednesday.

These three deals are reportedly worth a huge $5 million sum.
