Warrington Wolves confirmed last season that Jason Clark would be leaving the club at the end of the season.

Clark joined the Wire in 2019 and made nearly 1oo appearances across four seasons in the primrose and blue. He was a part of the side that tasted success in the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley during his first year with the Club.

The 32-year-old went on to join French Championship side Limoux Grizzlies this season.

Warrington Wolves CEO Karl Fitzpatrick said at the time of his departure: “Jason has been the consummate professional throughout his time at the Club and really embedded himself within the local community.

“He’s a very popular member of team and the Club and I know he’ll add real value to the Limoux organisation. Although he’s not been playing regularly this year he always gives 100% in training and is always willing to pass on his valuable experience to the young fellas in the team.

“He’ll move on at the end of the season with our best wishes.”

Clark has now wrapped up his career by winning the French Elite One Championship with Limoux at the weekend in front of over 8,000 fans and the celebrations in the small town have been amazing to behold.

The perfect way for Clark to retire.
