Ex-St Helens and current Toulouse Olympique forward Dominique Peyroux finds club for 2023

Ex-St Helens and current Toulouse Olympique forward Dominique Peyroux has locked in his club for the 2023 Super League season.

Peyroux has now signed a new deal with the French club.

Arriving from St Helens in 2021 with his two Super League titles, the explosive second rower has enjoyed his French experience so much that he will carry it on with Toulouse Olympique XIII for an additional season and another optional one.

After his NRL debut with the Gold Coast Titans, he joined the New Zealand Warriors where he spent three seasons before heading to Europe and the Super League. He joined St Helens with whom he stayed for five seasons, playing 121 games and winning two Super League Grand Final titles (2019 and 2020). In 2021, he joined the Olympique squad and took part in the club’s rise to the Super League.

Upon his arrival in Toulouse, ‘Dom’ was able to use his support and leadership qualities to lead the TO to the top of the Championship, with nine tries scored in 11 games in 2021.

This season, Peyroux has scored two tries, one in Toulouse’s historic first victory against St Helens on March 19, the other against Wigan on June 24. .

Bernard Sarrazain, the President of TO XIII was overjoyed with Peyroux penning a new eal “Dom’s extension shows that he believes in our project. Seeing a player with such a track record continue the adventure with us is very gratifying and proves that he and his family feel good in our Club.”

Peyroux himself had many positive words to say about the club: “My family and I are happy to stay in Toulouse. I am very grateful to be part of this adventure with this team. I wanted to thank the coach and the club for believing in me and in my abilities. I will now do everything I can to help him maintain his place in the Super League.”
