Ex-Saints and Huddersfield boss Brown finds new job

Former St Helens and Huddersfield head coach Nathan Brown has landed a new job in the NRL.

The 46-year-old has been appointed as a guest coach for New Zealand Warriors and will work specifically with their four young hookers.

The Warriors are spoilt for choice in that position, with new signing Wayde Egan competing with Jazz Tevega, Nathaniel Roache and Karl Lawton for the no.9 jersey.

The quartet will each have regular one-to-one sessions with Brown, who was a hooker himself in his playing days racking up over 170 games for St George.

He spent six years coaching in the UK, leading the Giants to the 2009 Challenge Cup Final and winning Super League with Saints in 2014.
