Ex-Leeds Rhinos star key to Wakefield Trinity business

Once upon a time it was Iestyn Harris signing the big deals.
In fact, his move from Warrington Wolves to Leeds Rhinos in 1997 was one of the biggest and most expensive ever at the time.
Meanwhile, his controversial switch to Bradford Bulls in 2004 prompted a legal dispute between the Bulls and Rhinos which didn’t come to an end until 2008.
Now though Harris is the one in the background pulling of big contracts and has secured a three-year deal for Oli Pratt at Wakefield Trinity.
The youngster will feature for Trinity against Leeds Rhinos on Boxing Day at centre despite being able to play fullback and on the wing.
Trinity CEO Michael Carter, full of praise for Pratt, praised Harris for his role in the move: “I’m delighted that Oliver has committed his future to Wakefield Trinity,
