Stevie Ward will go down in folklore at Leeds for the way in which he played the game.

A real tough nut, the forward ended up retiring due to a number of serious concussions and side effects.

Ward has since broadcast his journey on a number of outlets, including ITV, in an attempt to highlight the effects of head injuries whilst playing sport.

And, Ward has now updated his Instagram to show how he is coping with life away from rugby and adapting to a new, changed lifestyle.

One of the most important things that has helped the former Leeds skipper – who retired in January of this year – is meditation.

For a two-time Grand Final and Challenge Cup winner, life away from the sport hasn’t been easy, but he is attempting to help others through his own journey.
