Ex-Hull KR & Warrington Wolves men debuts confirmed alongside Leeds Rhinos youngster

Plenty of former Super League youngsters are in line to come off the bench and debut for Halifax Panthers today against Wakefield Trinity.

Former Warrington Wolves youngsters Ton Inman and Eribe Doro are on the bench for Simon Grix’s side alongside Kai Morgan.

Morgan has joined the club on loan from Leeds Rhinos to get some game time under his belt after shinning in Leeds Rhinos’ academy campaign in the halves next to Jack Sinfield.

Former Huddersfield man Kyle Wood is on the bench as the game celebrates ex-Hull FC man Reece Lyne’s career in his testimonial so it will be nice to see Wood come up against his former Wakefield teammates.

Surprisingly star winger Lachlan Walmsley is on the bench as is new signing and Italy World Cup star Jake Maizen.

Former Hull KR and Castleford Tigers prop Will Maher does debut in the starting 13.

As for Wakefield themselves, Applegarth has named his full side for today’s game. Jorge Taufua and Tom Lineham replace Lee Kershaw and Lewis Murphy on the wings who drop to the bench. There is a debut for Samisoni Langi at centre after he joined from Catalans Dragons as Lee Gaskell and Mason Lino start in the halves ahead of Morgan Smith who is on the bench. Liam Hood returns to the side after injury as Renouf Atoni makes his first start. Former NRL star Kevin Proctor will debut at loose-forward. Applegarth has named 13 substitutes as Reece Lyne is set to captain the side on his special day.
