Ex-Hull FC man Hakim Miloudi joins French outfit for 2023 season

London Broncos' Hakim Miloudi

Former Hull FC and Barrow Raiders man Hakim Miloudi has had his new club confirmed.

After confirming his exit from the Cumbrian club earlier in September, Miloudi had been inundated with offers from other Championship clubs as well as Super League.

However, the talented Frenchman has chosen to return to his homeland in France to join Albi, who play in the French Elite One division.

The Barrow club had previously said: ““We wish Hakim well in his future career, and the door is always open for a possible return further down the line.

“Whilst this leaves a gap in the squad, the club are already in advanced talks with a potential replacement and hope to announce some exciting news sooner rather than later.”

It’s a big loss to the British game given his exciting talent and brilliant personality – and he will certainly be a big miss for Barrow given how well he has formed a partnership with wing threat Tee Ritson.

Ritson himself has been linked with a big move to Super League for 2023 after taking the Championship by storm with the Raiders.

However, the Cumbrian club cannot afford to lose too many of their squad heading into the new season given how disruptive that could be in their quest to maintain a positive second tier side.
