Former Hull FC man Liam Tindall won’t be signing with Bradford Bulls in the near future, head coach Brian Noble has confirmed. Tindall has been a free agent since being released by the Black and Whites at the start of pre-season alongside Morgan Smith and Jack Walker.
Smith has since joined Sheffield Eagles and that expectation was that Tindall would sign with Bradford, where he spent time on loan last season, after returning to the club on a trial basis. He trained with the Bulls and represented the club in their friendly win over Keighley Cougars in December.
However, a deal has not been signed and Noble has now confirmed that Tindall’s time with the club has come to an end.
“Liam won’t feature this weekend,” Noble told the Telegraph and Argus ahead of this weekend’s friendly clash with Dewsbury Rams. “He has aspirations to play rugby somewhere, but it won’t be for us in the short-term.
“We’re good friends with Liam and he’s good friends with us, so should his circumstances change, I’m sure he’ll keep us in the loop.”
Tindall’s next move remains unknown at this stage but wherever he ends up, he’ll be determined to prove a point after a tough spell with the Black and Whites. The 23-year-old joined Hull FC from Leeds Rhinos ahead of the 2024 Super League season, but he struggled to make an impact and made just three appearances for the club.
The last of those came in a narrow 12-18 loss against his former club Leeds in April with the winger joining Bradford on loan shortly after. He made four appearances for the Championship side last year, but it seems as though he will be representing a different club in 2025.
