Ex-Hull FC man Liam Tindall has joined up with London Broncos following the start of the Championship season.
Tindall has been without a club since being released from his Hull contract at the start of pre-season, alongside Morgan Smith and Jack Walker, who have both signed for Sheffield Eagles.
The winger did spend a period of time on trial at Bradford Bulls in pre-season and even featured for the club in a pre-season friendly against Keighley Cougars. However, after leaving Odsal without signing a deal, he has now penned a contract with the Broncos, who are attempting to rebuild following relegation from Super League and their subsequent off-season exodus.
Tindall is expected to go straight into Mike Eccles’ starting line-up at the weekend, with London, who lost their opener at Odsal, playing host to Featherstone Rovers in the Championship.
“I’m buzzing to be a part of this team for the season,” the 23-year-old told London Broncos’ club media after penning a deal to join the side from the capital.
“I’m ready to put some hard work in to help the squad and prove some people wrong.”
Tindall started his career with Leeds Rhinos, making his debut for the club in 2020 before going on to make a total of 23 appearances. Valuable stints on loan at Doncaster and Bradford Bulls came during the period, too, before he made the switch to Hull FC ahead of the 2024 Super League season.
Unfortunately for the winger, he struggled to make a lasting impact in East Yorkshire, making just three appearances for the club. He spent a period of last season on loan at Bradford once more, but he’ll be looking to kick on and find traction in the colours of London.
