Ex-Featherstone Rovers star Dane Chisholm in graphic cyst removal

Dane Chisholm is now a Keighley Cougars player after enjoying a long spell in the Championship with Featherstone Rovers.

After previous spells at Bradford Bulls and Sheffield Eagles, the elusive halfback made the move to Cougar Park ahead of the 2022 season as part of the Keighley revolution.

The League 1 side are building for promotion to the Championship in 2023 – and they currently sit top of the third tier with the Cougars in the driving seat to make the second tier.

One of their men, Chisholm, posted on social media something extremely graphic following an operation of a cyst removal.

It really isn’t for the faint-hearted, but the veteran playmaker didn’t seem too bothered by the pain considering he was able to film it at the same time! What tough stuff rugby players are made of.

It’s not the first time a rugby league player has documented a horror injury or surgery with Ryan Brierley in 2021 revealing his horrendous eye injury that could have blinded him.

Elliott Whitehead for the Canberra Raiders split his mouth open so wide that his jaw had to be wired whilst Ben Crooks recently showed a massive hole in his mouth following a Hull KR game.
