Ex-Bradford Bulls star given shirt number at new club alongside ex-Leeds Rhinos and Castleford Tigers men

Hunslet have released their 2023 squad numbers and they are rather impressive.

Their star signing Sam Hallas from the Bradford Bulls has naturally taken the number nine shirt for the new campaign.

Hallas very nearly made a move down under after 2022, the former Newcastle Thunder man then made a move to Hunslet out of some big clubs chasing his signature.

The former Leeds Rhinos player is joined by other former Rhinos such as Jimmy Watson, Josh Jordan-Roberts and Harvey Whiteley who have been given the number one, number 10 and the number 18 shirts for 2023.

Former Castleford Tigers and Featherstone Rovers man Jake Sweeting takes the number six shirt.

It is a strong squad for the new season and should have Hunslet firing at the top of League 1.

Though the arrival of Dewsbury Rams in League 1 in 2023 will make it very competitive.

Sadly they won’t be playing West Wales Raiders after they stepped out of the league recently.
