Everything you need to know about the Super League Grand Final including when and how to watch, plus team news

Warrington Wolves and Wakefield Trinity will battle it out at Old Trafford later today in the 2026 Super League Grand Final and here is everything you need to know about the game.

For starters, it is a unique Grand Final. Never before in Super League has there been a Grand Final that did not feature St Helens, Wigan Warriors, or Leeds Rhinos, with the latter two being the sides that Wakefield and Warrington, respectively, knocked out in the semi-finals.

Both sides progressed as lower seeds meaning they had to win on the road and Warrington did that last Friday at Leeds, beating them 14-12 in a hard-fought game that was marred by controversy over the game-winning penalty.

As for Wakefield, they went on the road to Wigan and left no doubt as they won 33-6 in arguably the best Super League play-off performance of all time, as they booked their place in the Grand Final.

Now, tonight at Old Trafford, these two sides will face off as they each bid to win a first-ever Super League Grand Final and a first division title for the first time in over five decades – Wakefield last winning in 1968 and Warrington in 1955.
