
After State of Origin concluded brilliantly earlier today and some superb games at the Magic Weekend shown live to the World last week, we now turn our attentions to the live games this weekend.
We are given two huge Super League encounters starting with first vs third at the Totally Wicked Stadium as Huddersfield truly test themselves against the best.
It will be Theo Fages’ first return to the ground since leaving the Saints having delivered two Super League titles.
Speaking of returns, on Saturday Daryl Powell returns to the Jungle on the back of his Warrington side’s best win of the season which gave them a whiff of the play-offs. Can they back that up against his former club?
Meanwhile in the NRL the headline game is the Queensland derby on Saturday which follows the battle between Manly and Newcastle Knight also on Saturday morning.
Prior to that on Friday North Queensland host the Cronulla Sharks in a game between two sides who have impressed at times in 2022.
The weekend’s action concludes on Monday with another high profile Championship fixture.
York are again in action against a play-off rival in the shape of the super Batley which is sure to be a thrilling contest.
